The day I decided to be a mother I was chosen for this fight, mainly because of those who chose to come through me…3 Suns, aka, 3 the hard way, the dream team, and Boy 1, Boy 2, and Boy 3. While I am obviously no stranger to being black, I could not ever have experienced the world as I have as their mother; a world where blackness is demonized, criminalized, marginalized, and devalued. This Podcast was created from the many conversations with and about Suns..loving them, mothering them, raising and sharing them. I’m their staunch advocate, first teacher,  head cheerleader, and greatest FAN. Period!!! I see my role as being one that advances the notion of Freedom, not a revolution but one of continuous evolution, we are changing the narrative and the NARRATORS!
